Hey, I'm Parth Batra.

ML Engineer by day, music critic by night.

I grew up in Rewari—a small town near Delhi-NCR—and have been navigating the data science landscape for about four years now.

Right now, I'm a Senior ML Engineer at Procol (mostly, procol.ai), wrangling data and building AI solutions. Before this, my journey included summer internship at Maruti Suzuki , AI engineering at Genpact and software engineering at Brightchamps and Munch.

I call myself a Full Stack ML Engineer because I enjoy the entire lifecycle:

• Building data pipelines that actually work
• Training ML models that don't just look pretty on slides
• Creating LLM agents that might just flirt with the Turing test
• Crafting SQL queries epic enough for their own GitHub repo
• Developing microservices with CI/CD pipelines that deploy without breaking
• Designing dashboards that turn business metrics into "aha" insights

I launched this blog to share my unfiltered thoughts—whether it's breaking down cutting-edge tech or defending controversial hot takes (like why R secretly crushes Python for clean code). It's raw, sometimes messy, but always authentic—like a journal that accidentally went public.

I graduated from BITS Pilani with a dual-degree flex: B.E. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. (Hons.) in Mathematics. And yeah, I've logged over 100k minutes on Spotify Rewind in the last three years— arguably my bigger life achievement.
